Flexicurity
On July 13, SMEs and Entrepreneurship Policy Center - CEPOR held a press briefing on the topic of
FLEXICURITY
at the premises of the Institute of Economics. Sanja Crnković Pozaić, Director of CEPOR, briefed journalists on the situation in the Croatian labour market from the standpoint of flexibility and security and on principles of European Union policy on flexicurity, which will become binding for Croatia in the forthcoming period.

On June 26, CEPOR organized a round table on the subject of: "The Role of Venture Capital Funds in the Development of Croatian Economy" at the premises of the Institute of Economics.
Speakers at the round table were Dr. Ante Čičin-Šain, former Director of the Copernicus fund and the first Governor of the National Bank of Croatia, Dr. Sandra Švaljek, Director of the Institute of Economics, Ante Mamić, VENCRO Program Manager, Borislav Škegro, Chairman of the Board of the Quaestus fund, Jonathan Cooper, Director of the Poteza Ventures fund, and Slobodan Mikac, Managing Director of the Trade and Investment Promotion Agency. Event was moderated by Sanja Crnković Pozaić, Director of CEPOR.

AGREEMENT
Agreement on cooperation between the town of Bjelovar and CEPOR
On March 29, 2007, City of Bjelovar and SMEs and Entrepreneurship Policy Center (CEPOR) signed the Agreement on cooperation in promoting entrepreneurial skills in vocational schools of the City of Bjelovar, within the project "Promoting Entrepreneurial Skills in Vocational Schools: Preparation for the Labour Market", which was awarded a grant from the European Commission within the "Upgrading of Vocational Education and Training Schools" program, CARDS 2003.
