Slavica Singer, PhD
Slavica Singer graduated from University of Zagreb, Department for Economics in Osijek, and Purdue University Krannert Graduate School of Management, USA. She defended her doctoral thesis in 1975 in transfer-pricing.
She is the director of Graduate Program in Entrepreneurship and Doctoral Program Entrepreneurship and Innovativeness and full professor in Entrepreneuship and Strategic Management at the Faculty of Economics, J.J. Strossmayer University of Osijek.
Slavica has been the chairwoman of CEPOR since its foundation in 2001, member of National Competitiveness Council from 2004 and UNESCO Chair for Entrepreneurial Studies from 2007. Slavica was a member of the EU negotiation team for Croatia for chapter 20 - Industrial Policy and Entrepreneurship.
Her scope of work is entrepreneurship, strategic management, development of SMEs sector, business inteligence, social economy, regional economy, transition process in Eastern Europe (political, economic and sociological aspects) efficacy and efficiency of university education.
Slavica is the head of CEPOR’s GEM national research team for Croatia and a member of the Board of GERA – Global Entrepreneurship Research Association which runs GEM project worldwide.

Piotr Korynski, MSc
Piotr Korynski has over 20 years of experience in SME and economic development, including policy work with a deep knowledge of the challenges of enterprise development in the transition and emerging economies. He has experience in consulting non-profit and for profit organizations, in designing business and programmatic strategies, and developing organizational capacities for implementation. Piotr has worked on local and national public, private and non-profit sectors programs in more than 20 countries.
For the past 15 years, he was involved in various SME and entrepreneurship development projects in Croatia including the establishing and development of CEPOR.

Natasa Sarlija, PhD
Natasa Sarlija is an assistant professor of economics at the Faculty of Economics in Osijek, J.J. Strossmayer University in Osijek. She defended her doctoral thesis at the Faculty of Economics, University of Zagreb in 2002 in the field of quantitative economics on the topic of credit risks.
For two years she worked as an advisor in the Croatian National Bank (as advisor in the Prudential Regulation and Bank Supervision Sector).  
Natasa is a member of CEPOR’s national team of the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor project for Croatia.
Her special fields of interest are: credit risk, credit scoring, data analysis, application of statistical methods in economics, data mining and business intelligence.
Natasa is a member of the Croatian Operational Research Society (CRORS).

Sanja Pfeifer, PhD
Sanja Pfeifer is a full professor at the graduate and postgraduate studies in Entrepreneurship at the Faculty of Economics, J.J. Strossmayer University in Osijek. In 1994 Sanja defended her doctoral thesis entitled: “Qualitative Techniques for Forecasting Interaction between Environment and Companies in the Function of Strategic Company Management”.
Sanja is a member of CEPOR’s national team of the GEM project for Croatia. Areas of her interest include general management, strategic management and competitive position, qualitative forecasting techniques and methods.

Suncica Oberman Peterka, PhD
After graduating from university in 1997, Suncica Oberman Peterka was employed at the Centre for Entrepreneurship Osijek, where she worked as program coordinator in charge of organizing seminars and counseling for entrepreneurs, and participated in various projects of Centre for Entrepreneurship Osijek, aimed at encouraging development of SMEs and entrepreneurship.
In 2000, Suncica was employed at the Faculty of Economics in Osijek where she still works as assistant professor. She defended her doctoral theses: "Entrepreneurial Universities in Function of Effective Dissemination of University's Intellectual Property" in 2008 at the Faculty of Economics in Osijek, J.J. Strossmayer University in Osijek.
Beside regular education, Suncica had intensive additional education, but always focused on the issue of entrepreneurship at many European, American and Croatian institutions.
Suncica is a member of CEPOR’s GEM national team.

Mirela Alpeza, PhD
Mirela Alpeza is the director of CEPOR from March 2011. She also works as an assistant professor at the Faculty of Economics in Osijek, J.J. Strossmayer University in Osijek, where she defended her PhD in 2009 with the dissertation topic “Exploring the Impact of Company’s Internal Learning Process on Enhancing its Strategic Relationship with the Environment."
From 2003 she has been engaged in Center for Entrepreneurship in Osijek as consultant and trainer for small and medium-sized enterprises and the head of the Center for the franchise. Her fields of interest are SMEs, corporate entrepreneurship, franchising and competitive intelligence.

Julia Peric, PhD
After graduating from the Faculty of Economics in Osijek at J.J. Strossmayer University in Osijek, Julia Peric was employed at Croatian Employment Service, branch office Osijek, where she worked as a special advisor for employment, mentoring unemployed people, collaborating with the business sector and holding various workshops. In 2003 Julia was employed at small family owned company Flatcher Ltd. as the marketing manager responsible for promoting and branding of coffee products. 
In 2004 Julia was employed at the Faculty of Economics in Osijek where she still works as senior research and teaching assistant. She defended her doctoral thesis: “Building University's Social Responsibility by Encouraging Student Volunteering as a Form of Social Entrepreneurship“ in 2010 at the Faculty of  Economics in Osijek, J.J. Strossmayer University in Osijek.
Beside regular education, Julia had intensive additional education focused on the issues of entrepreneurship, social responsibility and volunteering.  
Julia is a member of the Supervisory Board of the National Community Foundation Slagalica and is the coordinator of the Volunteer Program at the Faculty of Economics in Osijek.
Julia participated in the preparation of Strategy for Women Entrepreneurship in CEPOR.

Anamarija Delic, MSc
After graduating at J.J. Strossmayer University of Osijek, Faculty of Economics in 2000 Anamarija Delic was employed at the Centre for Entrepreneurship Osijek. First, she was in charge of seminars for start-up entrepreneurs, counseling and project development, and later she became financial manager of different EU projects in the Centre. In 2005, she was promoted to director of the Centre. In 2007, Anamarija took the assistant position at the Faculty of Economics where she still teaches Finance for Small Business, Entrepreneurship and Consultancy for Small and Medium Companies.
In 2005, she defended her master's thesis: “Process of Forming Policies and Instruments for Supporting the Development of Small and Medium Companies” at the Faculty of Economics in Osijek, J.J. Strossmayer University in Osijek.
Anamarija has intensive additional education, focused on entrepreneurial teaching, small business development and management of EU projects.
She is a member of the Supervisory Board of the Volunteer Centre Osijek and advisor of student organization EWoB – Entrepreneurs without Borders. She participated in the preparation of Strategy for Women Entrepreneurship in CEPOR.
Anamarija is currently working on her doctoral dissertation entitled: “Decision Making Process of Capital Structure in SMEs in Under-developed Financial Market of Croatia”.

Sanja Crnkovic-Pozaic, MSc
Sanja Crnkovic-Pozaic graduated at the University of East Anglia, Norwich, England (Development Studies) and post-graduated at the University of Zagreb (Economic Analysis and Planning). She worked as a research fellow at the Economics Institute Zagreb in fields of labour economics, regional development and demography.
Sanja was positioned as the general director of the Croatian Employment Service for 6 years (1998 – 2004) during which ICT supported business processes were introduced.
From 2004 to 2006 Sanja was the executive vice-president responsible for human resources in Agrokor, the biggest private company in Croatia in the agro-business segment.
She was the director of CEPOR in the period from 2006 to 2008.
Sanja is consultant in the area of labour market with the World Bank, European Training Foundation, ILO and OECD.

Mirna Oberman, BSc
Mirna Oberman, former CEPOR’s program coordinator, today works as the director of business services Egzaktain Zagreb and is a member of the Board of Hidrokonzalt Ltd. She is a postgraduate student at the Graduate Program in Entrepreneurship at the Faculty of Economics in Osijek, and is in the process of writing her master's thesis.
Mirna is a member of CEPOR’s GEM national team.

Gordana Coric, BSc
Gordana Coric is an economist, working as the lecturer of the course in Entrepreneurship and Business Ethics at the Polytechnic VERN and through her own consulting firm Festina lente. She is a long-term associate of the Croatian Franchise Association. Her master's thesis on the topic "Challenges of Entrepreneurship for Fast-growing Enterprises (Gazellas) in Croatia on its Path towards European Union" in the Graduate Program in Entrepreneurship at the Faculty of Economics Osijek, J.J. Strossmayer University in Osijek is in its preparation. She participated in the preparation of Strategy for Women Entrepreneurship in CEPOR. Her research interests include entrepreneurship, economic empowerment of marginalized groups, the growth strategies for small and medium enterprises, business ethics and franchising.
